Show Love or Have Your Dreams Eradicated:
Love runs through the veins of our revolutionary spirit. It isn’t anything but the same relentless drive which brought revolutionary heroes Malcolm X, and Frantz Fanon of Martinique to the fore.
In a world so marred with inequity that our brightest are stood up to die, at some times leaving nothing so much as a parting goodbye behind, we must teach our young to show love and care for those whose life’s mission it is to do what’s right in the quest for ethical and just treatment. We must love our Malcolms, and our Frantz Fanons..
Love and ethical intelligence are strengths not weakness.
This moral intelligence passed onto generations of tomorrow must not be lost on Africans of old or young. Afterall, as (Frantz) Fanon once wrote, “Each generation must, out of obscurity, discover its mission, fulfill it, or betray it.”
Let that mission be loving ourselves enough to do the same for revolutionary heroes whom stand up for our rights to dream.
